Privacy Policy

Babies Name Generator does not require an account, and we do not collect the names you search for or save.

Your shortlist

Names you save are stored in your own browser (local storage) so they are there when you come back. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them. When you use the share button, the names are placed in the link itself, so only people you send the link to can see them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful, in aggregate. It uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location and the type of device you use. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out add-on.

Advertising

The site may show advertising in the future. If it does, this policy will be updated to name the ad partners and explain how they use cookies, and consent options will be provided where the law requires them.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, such as news reports on our celebrity baby names list. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
